Helping Hands Therapy, Inc. offers a wide range of outpatient services to our community. Though we provide Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy for physical impairments of any kind, our clinical specialty and our love and passion are the treatment of neurological disorders.
Our therapists are well known for their
expertise in the rehabilitation of Stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury and latest research is continuously integrated. After a specific and thorough evaluation we can tailor an individualized treatment plan for each patient, addressed to their and their family's unique needs and wishes

Instead of the ability to perform only certain exercises, we believe in giving the patient back his life. So functional rehabilitation is our goal. Meaningful activities that can be reproduced and used in the patient's own environment - wherever that may be! Likewise, we do not believe in exercise equipment typical in other rehabilitation facilities. Rather, we use familiar objects in familiar settings that are more meaningful for our clients. In other words, at HHTI the patient might learn how to walk with a laundry basket to the washer. He might learn to brush his or her hair instead of stacking blue, red and green cones and maybe practice telling his children to switch off the TV instead of naming objects on flash cards! |
